According to the clip, Hong Nhung has just undergone surgery and is in the recovery room. She said that when she was first diagnosed with cancer, she wanted to hide her illness because she didn’t want people to worry.
Hong Nhung said: "However, after waking up from the surgery, I changed and decided to share this image with all the women like me, who are undergoing treatment and fighting against breast cancer.
I want to send them my sympathy and, above all, share with each other the hope for good things, to overcome this disease together. Besides the love and care of friends, we also have each other."
Besides, Hong Nhung announced her new decision: "Along with my music and art career, I want to live the rest of my life fighting cancer for women in Vietnam. If the Ministry of Health in Vietnam allows me to make a small contribution, I am ready in any form."
In addition, Hong Nhung also hopes that in 2025, she and other patients can overcome this disease together. The female singer advises women to go for screening to detect cancer early, because 90% of people with breast cancer can be cured.
"Entering 2025, with the awareness that this disease can happen to anyone, Hong Nhung hopes that we, especially women, will screen for cancer early, be brave and give love to overcome it together," Hong Nhung shared.
