Actress Le Hang, full name Bui Thi Le Hang, born in 1975 in Tuyen Quang, was once a familiar face of Vietnamese cinema in the 1990s.
Le Hang began to gain attention from the role of Nu in the movie "Bản tình ca trong đêm" when she was still a student at the University of Theater and Cinema.
Le Hang's name became truly famous after the TV series "Please Believe Me" broadcast in 1997 with the role of Hoai "Thatcher" who is personality and rebellious. After that, the actress continued to make her mark through many edgy roles in "Candles in the Night", "White Collar", "Street Stories", "Dragon Team"...
For many years, Le Hang has hardly appeared on screen or participated in art activities. The actress once stopped thinking about returning to showbiz after upheavals and mistakes in her personal life.

Le Hang married in 1998 and gave birth to a daughter a year later. However, the marriage soon fell into a deadlock, the two separated for 20 years before completing divorce procedures when the actress turned 52.
The actress felt relieved after going to court and said that the two broke up peacefully, still respecting each other. Looking back at the past journey, Le Hang admitted that she once lived too strongly, emotionally and had a big ego that made marriage irreconcilable.

Currently, Le Hang affirms that past mistakes have made her no longer think about returning to art and still feel remorseful.
She is living with her older sister in Tuyen Quang and feels satisfied with her simple, peaceful life.

In April 2023, Le Hang was prosecuted by functional agencies on charges of illegally trading drugs. Previously, she was discovered carrying nearly 0.7 grams of synthetic drugs in Hanoi. According to initial confessions, this amount of drugs was bought for 500,000 VND to resell to others.
Le Hang once went through a long period of facing depression, causing her spirit and personal life to be heavily affected. However, thanks to the encouragement and companionship of family, friends and colleagues, the actress gradually regained balance and a more positive spirit in life.
