Recently, male singer Dam Vinh Hung asked Mr. Gerard Richard Williams - singer Bich Tuyen's husband - to compensate about 15 million USD.
According to the lawsuit, Dam Vinh Hung accused Mr. Gerard Richard Williams of failing to ensure the safety of guests at a party held at his mansion in Newport Coast.
On February 19, while attending a party at Mr. Gerard’s mansion, he was hit in the foot by debris from a concrete fountain that had fallen. The fountain was used as a stage and an outdoor drink stand but broke during the event.
The incident left the male singer seriously injured and had to have several toes amputated. Dam Vinh Hung said the accident forced him to change his schedule, canceling many performances in March and April 2024 (before being banned from performing) to focus on treatment, resulting in significant financial losses. His spirit was also affected.
