Vietnam's representative, Phuong My Chi, will face a series of talented contestants from Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia...
According to the format, 10 contestants are paired into 5 pairs of performances.
The person with the most votes from the remaining contestants will be eligible to vote as a partner.
As a result, singer Miyuna (Japan) took the lead with 4 votes and chose to pair up with Chu Phi Ca (China).
Next, Vuong Hong Hao chose Flower.far (Thailand), while Kha Lau - a female singer from China, stood out with her traditional music style that decided to collaborate with Phuong My Chi.
The other two couples are Ai Tan Giac La Mi - Amsyar, Babychair - Tran Dinh An.
Miyuna (Japan) - Chu Phi Ca (China)
Miyuna, born in 2002, is a Japanese singer and songwriter, famous for her emotional voice and ability to play the guitar skillfully.
She has performed music for famous anime such as Black Clover and Fairy Tail.
Also born in 2002, Chu Phi Ca (China) - a graduate of Zhejiang Academy of Arts - is known for her stable stage technique, bright and powerful voice.
At Sing! In Asia, the performance "Ca Map Hang B" made a strong impression, attracting the attention of the audience and the media.

Miyuna and Chu Phi Ca are considered the strongest match in the Sing! Semi-final. Asia, of which, Miyuna was the contestant who received the most votes from other contestants in the collaboration round (4/10 votes).
Miyuna shared: My voice and style are surprisingly similar to Chu Phi Ca. When we combine, we will definitely create a top-notch stage".

Vuong Hong Hao (China) - Flower.far (Thailand)
Vuong Hong Hao was born in 2000, from China, graduated from the Faculty of Music - Sichuan National University of Education.
He has a warm, moderate male voice and was in the Top 8 of The Voice of China 2021.
At Sing! Asia, Vuong Hong Hac are highly appreciated for their emotions and progress through each round.
Meanwhile, Flower.far (born in 2000), is a famous R&B/Soul female singer in Thailand, with a soft, sophisticated voice. Own many hits such as "Like A Fool", "Walk Away"...
Flower.far revealed: "At first, I wanted to choose Ai Tan Giac La Mi, but after talking to Hong Hao, I wanted to learn more about him".

Kha Lau - Phuong My Chi
Kha Lau (China) is a 22-year-old female singer who made her mark at The Voice of China 2023.
She made a strong impression with her folk-style singing style and Chinese drama elements, and was once considered a "direct opponent" of Phuong My Chi.

Phuong My Chi is the only representative of Vietnam, famous since she was a child for her sweet, profound voice and love for folk music.
At Sing! Asia, Phuong My Chi impressed with performances imbued with Vietnamese culture such as "Buon Trang", "Bong Phu Hoa", "Ly Bac Bo"...
The couple Phuong My Chi - Kha Lau is considered a combination with strong Asian identity, when the two voices representing the Vietnamese - Chinese folk song genre had the opportunity to blend on stage.
Previously, contestant Ai Tan Giac La Mi also expressed her excitement for this collaboration: "Your traditional Vietnamese quality combined with the traditional Chinese elements of Kha Lau will be very interesting".

Ai Tan Giac La Mi (China) - Amsyar (Malaysia)
Ai Tan Giac La Mi is a Chinese contestant. She has a strong, emotional performance style and often brings in-depth performances.
Amsyar is a male singer from Malaysia, active in music since 2021 with his debut work " Tak Mungkin", famous for his covers on TikTok.
Previously, Ai Tan Giac La Mi expressed her desire to join Flower but failed.

Babychair (Malaysia) - Tran Dinh An (China)
Babychair is a indie band consisting of three members Sean (vocal), Aaron (multi-instrumentalist) and Young (keyboard/ synth) from Malaysia, known for their dreamy-pop, retro style and highly appreciated for their sophisticated, flying music quality.
The group was nominated for the Fresh Music Awards 2022 and had a Southeast tour in Manila (Philippines), Jakarta (Indonesia) and Bangkok (Thailand).
Meanwhile, Tran Dinh An is a face that is rarely revealed by the media, however, she has proven her ability through the rounds with a stable voice and sophisticated handling.

It can be seen that the pair Phuong My Chi - Kha Lau is one of the highly appreciated teams in the 1 Sing Semi-final! Asia, but still need to be wary of strong opponents such as Miyuna - Chu Phi Ca and Vuong Hong Hao - Flower.
According to the law, the two contestants with the lowest votes after the first semi-final will be eliminated.
The remaining 8 people will continue to the second semi-final (aired on July 18) to select 5 excellent names to advance to the final round.
