Appearing as a guest judge at the final round of the program "The Storyteller of Love", famous singer Ngoc Anh attracted attention with her meticulous demeanor, positive energy and enthusiasm for the contestants.
Besides professional sharing, the story of Ngoc Anh's health and journey to maintain her form after more than four decades of singing has also received attention. At the age of 61, the female artist said she is lucky not to suffer from underlying diseases such as blood pressure, cardiovascular disease or diabetes. However, she admits that her body still has to "pay the price" for years of high-intensity performances, especially the habit of wearing high heels for decades.
According to Ngoc Anh, from a young age, high heels were almost a "compulsory accessory" every time she went on stage. Wearing high heels from 10 cm or more helps to flatter her figure, create a confident demeanor and maintain a feminine image in front of the audience. However, after 40 years of being associated with stage lights and high heels, she started to have knee joint problems and had to go for regular check-ups and treatments.
However, the female singer still maintains the habit of appearing neatly in public. She said that she is now more flexible in using high heels, only wearing them when necessary on stage or during filming, then quickly changing to low heels to reduce pressure on her legs. Controlling weight and paying attention to lifestyle are also considered by her as important factors to protect her long-term health.
Family is a great support to help Ngoc Anh maintain stable spirit and physical condition. Children regularly support taking her to the doctor and sharing work, helping the female artist have more time to rest between performance schedules. Thanks to that, at the age of over 60, she still maintains a regular show schedule and maintains her powerful voice - something she considers the most precious asset of a singer.
Sharing about her career journey, Ngoc Anh believes that health and voice are always prerequisites. For her, if she cannot maintain her fitness, artists can hardly maintain their performance on stage. Therefore, in addition to taking care of her health, she always reminds herself to maintain her passion and serious professional spirit.
The female singer also sent advice to young artists, especially about professionalism in performance. According to her, if the audience has spent money to buy tickets, artists need to respect them with careful preparation, from memorizing lyrics, practicing to maintaining stage performance. That meticulousness not only shows responsibility to the audience but also respect for the artist herself.
Although she regularly accepts invitations to tour abroad, especially during Tet, Ngoc Anh still prioritizes staying in Vietnam to reunite with her family, especially her 97-year-old father. For her, moments of reunion and peace with loved ones are no less important than the stage lights.
