The book has been cherished by author Tran Thuy Hang for 10 years. She said that the first ideas for the story began to blossom in the twenties. But at that time, the author thought he was too young and Volunteered to write what truly touched the hearts of readers.
It was until my mother passed away, and I was pregnant at the same time, that so many changes and events happened at the same time. They seemed to have erased a memory of carefree, carefree, and innocentness in me, gradually replaced by worrisome alone thoughts.
There are things that can be said to relieve the pressure, but there are things that cannot be said, so I dialogue with myself with such short stories. And that is the initial foundation to help Let's hug little Mother! was born, the author recounted.

The book includes 25 short stories. A surprise awaits readers in story No. 25, containing the deepest thoughts and feelings about family, gratitude, life perspective and promises for the future.
Throughout the 25 stories spread throughout the author's 10-year journey of maturity, many smiles, tears, love and even the feelings that have not yet been revealed to her mother will be shared for readers to contemplate.
I hope that everyone will find harmony and good reasons to add love to their life, and always feel lucky to still have the opportunity to express their feelings to their loved ones, said Ms. Hang.

The title of the book was inspired by the warm feeling when she was hugged by her mother, when she was in bed.
Starting writing since 2018, every year she reads her sentences and thinks about them more. Each line of text is used by her to be mature or newly accumulated experiences to find a way to accurately express the thoughts in her mind, or to find a way to explore the deepest emotions in her heart, to concretize them in words.
The feelings about the moment of her mother's death, how family members and the author himself recovered from the loss are all conveyed in the book. The love of mother, family, timeless naivety and even regret are the materials for the author to write Let me hug you!.
The first time I wrote a book by myself, it was also the first time I had to truly face myself and everything that was broken in my heart, to put it back together to heal my soul with the shadow left by my mother, Ms. Hang shared.
The author also hopes that his first book will become a medicine for the heart, inspiring to heal the hurt or narrow the gap between family members, especially the relationship between mother and daughter.
" Then one day, we suddenly realized that time was passing so quickly amidst the chaos of life without any way to hold on or go back. So why is it a pity for a really tight hug, a real story that I am willing to tell to me right now?", Ms. Hang shared.
