Notably, this year's festival season has 4 teams participating for the first time, promising to bring new and diverse performance styles.
The two representative teams of Vietnam, Da Nang Fireworks Team and Z21 Vina Pyrotech, continue to participate, playing the role of connecting local identity with international fireworks schools. The combination of experienced teams and "new recruits" is expected to create a season of competition full of surprises and emotions.

According to many experts, the presence of two "giants" in the fireworks industry, Macau (China) and Japan, will increase the competitiveness and attractiveness of DIFF 2026.
DIFF 2026 continues to apply technology to enhance the audience's experience. In which, Sky AR technology allows viewers to interact with the fireworks sky; Laser LED system projecting light on the Han River and buildings on both banks; and real-time sound technology helps viewers fully enjoy the performance in many different locations.
