Recently, Dispatch conducted an investigation and released some details related to sexual assault allegations between a BJ (online broadcaster) and a man identified as Jisoo's (Blackpink) brother. The victim in the incident is an active BJ, called "B", while the suspect is "A".
According to information from legal representatives of both sides, many details in the case have coincidence in developments, but there are also major contradictions in the testimonies, especially at important stages.
The meeting started from dinner.
According to both sides, the incident started when "A" joined the SOOP online broadcasting platform (formerly AfreecaTV) and accidentally watched "B"'s livestream. After that, "A" sent away about 35,000 "stars", equivalent to 3.5 million won, in exchange for a dinner appointment.
The two met on April 15, at a restaurant in Cheongdam Dong, Seoul. The meeting lasted from 6:30 pm to 10 pm, after which they continued to move to "A"'s house.
B" said that she agreed to continue the meeting because "A behaved politely during the meal and did not have physical contact". After returning home, the two lightly ate, drank alcohol and watched TV on the sofa - this was also the period when the testimonies of the two sides were still consistent.

Conflicts begin in the main bedroom
Controversy arose when the two sides gave different testimonies about moving into the bedroom.
According to "A", "B" went into the bedroom and lay on the bed first, making him understand that this was a consensus signal. However, "B" denied it, claiming that she only pulled "A" into the bedroom for him to rest because she was sleepy after taking sleeping pills, and at the same time she needed to end the livestream.
The two sides also made contradictory explanations of intentions and actions at this time, especially regarding whether there is a consensus factor or not.
Conflicting testimony about contact
A" affirmed that all actions took place naturally and there was no clear objection from "B", saying that if there was a request to stop, he would stop.
Meanwhile, "B" said that she was pulled closer and forced to lie down on the bed, then the rape occurred even though she resisted.
The focus of the case lies in the issue of consensus, a key factor in cases related to sexual crimes.
A" affirmed that the other person did not object and everything happened voluntarily. Conversely, "B" emphasized that she repeatedly refused but could not escape the situation and tried to delay to handle and report the incident.
Both sides also gave different explanations for the behavior afterwards, including moving into the bathroom and the time of reporting the incident.
The case is still under investigation.
The case is still under investigation by functional agencies. The information released is mainly based on testimonies from both sides and there is no final conclusion yet.
The "A" and "B" sides both went through legal representatives to request clarification of the matter, while the online community continues to follow the new developments from the investigating agency and the media.
Although functional agencies have not confirmed the information, Korean public opinion still erupted with a wave of criticism related to Kim Jung Hoon, and at the same time caused Jisoo (Blackpink) to be affected.
On social networks, many suspicions suggest that Jisoo's older brother may have taken advantage of his younger sister's influence to cover up wrongdoings, especially after information appeared about some old newspaper articles being removed.
Under public pressure, Jisoo's legal team spoke out on April 20, affirming that the rumors spreading were not related to the female singer and Blissoo company, and said that many contents online were just unverified or untrue speculations.
