Ta Quan Communal House was built at the end of the Le Dynasty, the beginning of the Nguyen Dynasty (17th century), with a history of nearly 500 years. The communal house is located on a large land of nearly 8,000m2 with many construction items creating a majestic and sacred connection. The communal house was originally called Ta Lan (the old name of Ta Quan). The communal house worships Thanh Hoang Quy Minh Dai Vuong Thuong Dang Than - a talented general during the time of Hung Due Vuong - the 18th Hung King. His real name is Nguyen Quy Minh, a brother of Tan Vien Son Thanh, who helped King Hung defeat the Thuc Phan army, keep the border peaceful, pacify the country, and establish the Van Lang country. In 1997, Ta Quan Communal House was recognized as a National Historical and Cultural Relic.
Every year, on the 11th and 12th of the 11th lunar month, the Dai Ky Phuoc ceremony takes place at Ta Quan communal house. At the festival, the leaders of Duong Quan commune respectfully report to Duc Thuong Dang and the people of the commune about the achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of Duong Quan commune have achieved in 2024 with many outstanding achievements. Duong Quan people, no matter where they are, gather under the communal house roof on these days to offer incense sticks and agricultural products after a year of labor and production, with a sincere heart, to inform Duc Thuong Dang, praying for a year of favorable weather and bountiful crops. This is also a meaningful activity to preserve and promote the values of historical relics and Vietnamese cultural heritage of the local people.
