On December 13, in Tan Gianh commune (Quang Tri province), a ceremony was held to receive the Certificate of National Monument status of Song Trung Temple and Mo Hoang Vinh To - Hoang Vinh Du.
The event is considered an important milestone for the Party Committee, government and people of Tan Gianh commune in particular, and Quang Tri province in general, demonstrating the State's recognition of the historical, cultural and spiritual values of the locality.
The People's Committee of Tan Gianh commune said that Song Trung Temple and the Tomb of Hoang Vinh To - Hoang Vinh Du have special historical and patriotic values, associated with the contributions to opening the world and building the homeland of the Hoang family in Tan Gianh.
Despite the time and many harsh changes, the relic is still preserved thanks to the cooperation of the government, community and bloodline.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's ranking of the two projects as National Monuments affirms the efforts of the local political system and people in preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage.
The relic is expected to become a highlight in traditional education, arousing patriotism, the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and national pride in the younger generation.
