Hung Yen province is implementing the Project to restore and recreate the old Pho Hien trading port. The planning scope of the 1/2,000 scale zoning to build and recreate the old Pho Hien trading port has a total natural area of about 1,700 ha, belonging to the wards and communes: Pho Hien, Son Nam, Hong Chau, Tan Hung.
On June 10, the People's Committee of Hong Chau ward (Hung Yen province) held a conference to collect opinions on the draft plan to organize the public announcement of the 1/2,000 scale zoning plan for re-establishing the old Pho Hien trading port.
According to the draft plan, at the conference, Decision No. 1679/QD-UBND dated May 28, 2026 of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee on approving the 1/2,000 scale zoning plan for re-establishing the old Pho Hien trading port belonging to Hong Chau, Pho Hien, Son Nam wards and Tan Hung commune will be announced.
The announcement aims to provide official information to agencies, units, organizations and people in the planning area, helping relevant organizations, individuals and households to clearly understand the goals, development orientations, planning scope and implementation contents in the coming time.

According to the plan, the conference is chaired by Hong Chau Ward People's Committee, expected to be held in June 2026.
Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Mr. Lam Ba Quyet - Chairman of Hong Chau Ward People's Committee emphasized that publicizing the planning project is an important political task, meaningful for the development of the locality and neighboring areas.
Therefore, units need to proactively prepare programs and detailed scripts, ensure sufficient conditions to serve the conference, and coordinate well in welcoming delegates so that the conference takes place solemnly, safely, effectively and in accordance with regulations.
According to Hong Chau Ward People's Committee, the project to rebuild Pho Hien ancient trading port is expected to contribute to preserving and promoting the historical and cultural values of Pho Hien, while creating motivation to promote tourism and service development, attract investment, expand urban space and improve people's lives in the area.
