On the morning of January 1st, at Dong Hoi Airport (Quang Tri province), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized to welcome the first tourist group to Quang Tri by air in 2026.
Flight number VJ260 of Vietjet Air airline departed from Tan Son Nhat Airport, Ho Chi Minh City, landing at Dong Hoi Airport at 7:05 am.
There were 180 passengers on the flight, most of whom were tourists from southern provinces and cities. In particular, there were 5 international tourists who came to "xong dat" Quang Tri on the first day of the new year.
Participating in welcoming the delegation were representatives of leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Tourism Promotion Center; Tourism Association; Immigration Management Department of the Provincial Police; Dong Hoi Airport; Northern Airport Authority at Dong Hoi Airport and representatives of Vietjet Air in Quang Tri. The units presented flowers and sent congratulations to passengers and crew.
In the joyful atmosphere of the first day of the year, leaders of the Quang Tri Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism sent words of gratitude and congratulations to the first tourists to "enter the locality" in 2026, spreading the joy and new energy of Quang Tri tourism to domestic and foreign tourists.
