The opening ceremony of the film week is scheduled to take place at 7 pm on July 21 at the National Cinema Center (Hanoi). The movie chosen for opening screening is the movie "Don't Burn". The program is expected to have exchanges with directors, actors, historical witnesses and representatives of martyr families, doctor Dang Thuy Tram.
The highlight of the event is that for the first time, commercial cinema systems simultaneously participated in a nationwide free movie screening program to show gratitude to people with meritorious services to the revolution and serve the people. The National Cinema Center and 13 film distribution, dissemination and cinema business enterprises, such as CGV, Galaxy, Lotte Cinema, Beta Cinema, AEON BETA, BHD... have confirmed participation with a total of 190 cinema complexes nationwide.

On July 22nd, 23rd and 24th, cinema complexes will organize two free screenings each day at 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The program serves veterans, people with meritorious services and policy families, armed forces, union members, youth, students, and a large number of people.
According to the organizers, the screening schedule of each cinema complex will be announced on the websites of the cinemas and related information channels. Free movie tickets are distributed directly at the ticket counter from 3 to 5 days before each screening. In addition, the cinemas also arrange some rows of seats for veterans and policy families to watch live without having to receive tickets in advance.
