According to MK, Galaxy Corporation has officially announced that it has achieved the "unicorn" title at the opening speech of the COMEUP 2025 global startup event.
Established in 2019 with a charter capital of only 1 million won, Galaxy Corporation has so far mobilized a total of 180 billion won of common share investment capital from 31 investment organizations.
In the first half of 2025, the company achieved revenue of 126 billion won, an increase of more than 200% compared to the same period last year; and net profit reached 13 billion won, officially shifting from loss to profit. Revenue in the second half of 2025 is estimated to exceed 300 billion won and currently the enterprise value is valued at over 1 trillion won.
Previously, in the first half of 2025 financial report, Galaxy Corporation said that most of their revenue growth came from G-Dragon's "Übermensch" tour.
G-Dragon's tour has redefined the standard for Kpop solo tours around the world, with 39 performances in 17 cities in 12 countries of Asia, Oceania, North America and Europe.
It has attracted more than 825,000 audiences worldwide; earning $71.8 million from just 22 out of 39 reported performances, according to Billboard Boxscore data.
From these figures, the media estimates that the total ticket sales revenue of the "Übermensch" tour could reach 180-190 billion won, becoming the largest tour of a Korean solo artist in history.
Earlier this year, G-Dragon also successfully held fan meetings in Seoul (Korea), Yokohama (Japan) and Bangkok (Thailand), recording nearly 90,000 attendees.
G-Dragon's reputation and commercial value increased thanks to the release of the studio album "Übermensch" and organizing a global tour, and having many cooperation activities with brands and labels.

Before the news that G-Dragon brought in big revenue for Galaxy Corporation, audiences also recalled his relationship with his former management company - YG Entertainment, and the fact that former YG Chairman Yang Hyun Suk tried to "keep" the male singer but was unsuccessful.
Previously, Korean media revealed that YG missed the opportunity to extend the contract with G-Dragon at a sensitive time.
According to Sports Seoul, G-Dragon has drafted an exclusive contract and is preparing to re-sign with YG to release a personal album. However, at the end of October 2023, he was suddenly involved in an investigation into drug use allegations.
But then, YG announced to the media: "It is difficult to answer officially because he is currently not an artist under our company.
This prevented G-Dragon from giving an official response immediately upon being prosecuted, and had to hire an external team of lawyers to represent him legally and speak out.
Industry sources revealed that when YG showed heartlessness, denied all relationships with the Big Bang leader, Galaxy Corporation took the opportunity to get involved and help.
CEO of Galaxy Corporation - Choi Yong Ki - who has a close relationship with G-Dragon - actively protected the male singer and gave legal advice during the period when he encountered trouble.
In early December of the same year, many Korean media reported on G-Dragon signing an exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation.
Knowing this, Yang Hyun Suk was said to have expressed anger, suggesting G-Dragon "resolve the relationship with Galaxy and sign a contract extension with YG".
However, Sports Seoul emphasized that G-Dragon's disappointment with YG's attitude played an important role in the decision to leave.
On December 20, 2023, YG officially spoke out about breaking up with G-Dragon after two decades of attachment.
The very next day, December 21, after G-Dragon was declared innocent by the police, Galaxy Corporation held a press conference to announce the male singer's joining the group.
