On the evening of May 3, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Binh province coordinated with the People's Committee of Thai Binh city and the Provincial Tourism Association to organize the opening ceremony of Thai Binh Provincial Tourism Week 2025 and the opening ceremony of Thai Binh City's walking street.
2025 is the second year that Thai Binh Tourism Week has been organized at the provincial level to promote tourism, introduce cultural values, cuisine, craft villages and unique types of eco-tourism in Thai Binh province.
The tourism week takes place from March 3 to May 5, including many unique cultural, sports and tourism events; with the highlight being hot air balloon performances, art programs imbued with folk cultural identity such as Cheo singing dance, water puppetry, Ca Tru singing, Xam singing, culinary markets introducing local delicious dishes, combined with displaying OCOP products, recreating folk games combined with vivid, modern art programs such as folk songs, folk dances...
In particular, the walking street model established on Dinh Tien Hoang Street (Ky Ba Ward, Thai Binh City) is systematically planned with street art performance areas with more than 70 souvenir booths, specialty food stalls, check-in areas, cultural and artistic exhibitions, bringing a complete experience to visitors. This is an opportunity to promote the image of the land, the friendly, hospitable people of Thai Binh, rich in identity and on the path of strong development.

After a period of urgent preparation, the walking street has now gathered all the conditions to become a destination, an attractive tourism product.
