According to Allkpop, recently, the British media company published 2 interviews with 5 members of the girl group NewJeans (Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein).
The two interviews were conducted before and after the court approved the temporary ban application submitted by ADOR, to maintain the company's management rights and prohibit NewJeans from signing advertising contracts (March 21). This means that the NewJeans members cannot continue to work independently under the name NJZ.
In the interview, NewJeans explained why they announced a temporary hiatus and expressed their determination not to return to ADOR.
Minji said, "We have suffered a lot emotionally. Going back to that company and facing all that again would be cruel.
Danielle continued: ADOR did not protect us. We did not start this to get sympathy. We just want to do what we love right. But the lies and misunderstandings kept getting in the way.

In particular, Hanni's shares regarding the accusation of discrimination at HYBE received great attention.
In court, ADOR presented CCTV footage ( Regarding ILLIT's management allegations asking the group to ignore Hanni) and text messages exchanged between Hanni and former CEO Min Hee Jin as evidence of no discrimination.
In response, Hanni said that ADOR only select CCTV footage that is suitable for their purposes, rather than giving the full truth about this situation, while also setting up a story that benefits the company's private views.
In the context of many viewers suspecting that young idols are being manipulated or trying to evade legal liability, Hanni firmly denied it.
The decisions we make are the result of in-depth discussions among all members. But it seems that many people think that we are too young to decide for ourselves.
Just because we are young does not mean that we take this situation lightly or think less deeply. We discussed very carefully and only when all 5 people had the same views were decisions made, Hanni said.

Notably, Hanni added, We are not comfortable with constantly raising this issue, because we know it involves another group (ILLIT) and we do not want to influence that group in any way, because that is unnecessary.
But Hanni believes that if they keep quiet, the story spread by HYBE or what the press reports will become true, then the nature of the problem can be distorted.
In an interview after the court's verdict, Hanni was moved when sharing about not having a family by her side because she is not Korean. Hanni was sad and felt guilty that her family had to worry about what she had gone through in another country.
However, NewJeans interviews, especially Hanni's shares, are causing a lot of controversy.
Many opinions said that NewJeans is "selling emotions" and "there is no real evidence to show that ADOR treated the group badly". If NewJeans does not want to be involved with ADOR, just pay the contract fine and leave instead of wasting time.
