The Vietnam Writers' Association's admission of members at the beginning of 2026 is an addition to the force, and at the same time sends expectations for a spirit of dedication to creativity.

On February 1st, at the annual work deployment conference held in Hanoi, the Vietnam Writers' Association officially announced the admission of 62 new members.

This is an important personnel addition, raising the total number of members of the Association to 1,210 people. This admission phase recognizes the participation of many young writers and authors from ethnic minorities, promising to bring "special beauty" to the country's literary flow.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Association - poet Nguyen Quang Thieu emphasized: "Regarding the force, this addition is a resource for literature to enter the "New Era". Regarding responsibility, it is calling on writers to maintain creative ethics and the courage to hold a pen in the context of a turbulent digital age.

Regarding the mission, each writing page needs to be more dedicated and truthful to contribute to the overall development of national culture," poet Nguyen Quang Thieu said.

The event takes place in the context of Vietnamese literature undergoing many positive changes with creative camps and in-depth seminars, affirming the position of culture as a foundation to "show the way for the nation to go".
