On the morning of March 29, at Hoan Kiem Lake walking street (Hanoi), more than 1,000 women parade in Ao Dai and map outfits of Vietnam. This is an event in response to "Ao Dai Week" launched nationwide by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, organized by Vietnam Women's Newspaper.
Initiated in 2019, "Ao Dai Week" contributes to spreading traditional values, the spirit of solidarity and honoring the ao dai - the cultural symbol of Vietnam.

More than 1,000 women include leaders and officials of the Vietnam Women's Union, officials, members of the Hanoi Women's Union, guests, officials and students of the Vietnam Women's Academy.
The Vietnamese map arrangement was done by 500 female students of the Vietnam Women's Academy in red and yellow-stared ao dai. This is a form of intuitive education, emphasizing awareness of territorial sovereignty, responsibility for national protection and development. This activity also affirms the important role of Vietnamese women in the cause of national construction.

Each piece of the map represents each person, each region and when everyone joins hands, we create a strong and resilient Vietnam.
Vietnamese women are proud of Ao Dai, works of art that have existed for a long time. This is not only a traditional costume, but also a symbol of solidarity and spreading the image of Vietnam on the international stage.
