Mr. Hoang Viet Trung - Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center - said that right after the invasion of the throne, the Chairman of Hue City People's Committee issued a letter to direct the relevant units to inspect and re -evaluate the entire preservation, display and protection of artifacts, especially national treasures. The Hue Monuments Conservation Center is required to organize the review and handling of the concerned collective and individual responsibilities; At the same time, developing safety protection plans for all treasures are being kept.

The Department of Culture and Sports will preside over the coordination to assess the current status of display and protection of antiques at museums and relics in the area, and report to the City People's Committee before June 12, 2025.

Regarding the direction of handling of abused treasures, on May 30, the People's Committee of Hue City established a Council to evaluate the status and propose a plan to preserve and restore the Nguyen King of the Nguyen Dynasty. The Council consists of representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the People's Committee of Hue City and scientists, meeting on 1.6.2025 to develop a plan to submit to the Ministry for consideration and decision.

Hue City also directed the completion of a detailed protection plan for each national treasure in June 2025, while investing in modern technology such as warning sensors, virtual fences, security monitoring systems, etc. to ensure absolute heritage safety.

The center requires affiliated units to review and adjust protection plans, increase patrols, control security, check door locking systems, cameras and coordinate with local authorities and police forces to ensure safety for relic sites.

"At the same time, the center also focuses on fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue, protection of artifacts, antiques, national treasures, and inspection of power systems to prevent fire and explosion" - the Center Director emphasized.
