In the context of cultural heritage conservation shifting strongly to digital data platforms and artificial intelligence, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center made its mark at the CIPA 2025 International Conference held in Seoul (Korea). This is an in-depth forum that brings together nearly 1,000 experts, researchers and international organizations in the field of heritage conservation.

The event focused on discussing the increasingly important role of data in the preservation of cultural heritage in the digital age. Many topics revolve around the application of digital technology to create and analyze heritage data, thereby opening up new methods of preservation of artifacts, archaeological sites, historical architecture, museums and cultural landscapes.
Notably, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center directly presented a paper on 3D sweep and HBIM (Heritage Information Model) to preserve Hue cultural heritage at Thai Hoa Palace.

This is the result of cooperation between the Hue Center for digital transformation and business development with UALS Company (Vietnam) and PoSTMEDIA Company (Korea), within the framework of the 3D digital scanning project and testing the construction of HBIM model for Thai Hoa Electricity in the period of 2023 - 2025.
The choice of Hue to introduce experiences at an international forum shows that the heritage city of Vietnam is one of the pioneers in applying digital technology to conservation work.
The CIPA 2025 workshop not only contributes to affirming the trend of data-based conservation and artificial intelligence, but also opens up opportunities for Hue heritage to access advanced methods, improve management efficiency and promote value in the context of digital transformation and international integration.
