The Korea Business Research Institute has just announced the brand reputation ranking for female group members in February. The results show the outstanding appeal of top K-pop stars, especially Blackpink members when they occupy many high positions in the top.
The ranking is built on the basis of big data analysis of 730 female group members, collected from January 15 to February 15. The evaluation criteria include consumer participation, media coverage, interaction indicators and community awareness.
At the top of this month is Jennie with a brand reputation index of 7,849.623 points, an increase of 6.13% compared to the previous month. In keyword analysis, the phrases most related to Jennie include "ZEN", "EXchange" and "photo exhibition", showing great public interest in the female singer's artistic activities and personal projects. Other prominent related keywords such as "bold", "charming" and "release" also reflect her outstanding personal image in the past time. Notably, the positive response rate for Jennie reached 92.31%.
Right after Jennie is Jang Won Young (IVE) with a score of 7,783.629 points, showing the sustainable influence of the female idol born in 2004 in both music and advertising. Won Young continues to maintain her position as one of the young faces with the highest brand value in K-pop today.
Lisa rose sharply to third place with 5,938,785 points, recording an increase of 25.05% compared to January. This increase reflects the great interest of the international public in the personal and fashion activities of the Thai singer.
Rosé ranked fourth with 5,568.381 points, up 31.38% compared to the previous month - one of the highest increases in the top. Meanwhile, An Yu Jin (IVE) closed the top 5 with 4,156.719 points, a slight increase of 2.55% compared to the previous month.
In addition to the top 5, many other familiar faces also participated in the top 30 such as Hwasa (MAMAMOO), Karina and Winter (aespa), Wonhee (ILLIT), Jisoo (Blackpink), Taeyeon (Girls' Generation), Kim Chaewon (LE SSERAFIM), Sullyoon (NMIXX), Nayeon (TWICE), Seulgi (Red Velvet), YoonA (Girls' Generation) and many other artists.
The February results continue to show the strong influence of Blackpink when there are up to four members in the top 10, while affirming the competitive position of young idol generations such as IVE, aespa or ILLIT in the current K-pop market.
