Jungkook has reached another historic milestone by becoming the fastest Asian artist to surpass 17 million followers on Spotify.
His personal account, released on February 11, 2022, has achieved this record number at an unprecedented speed, continuing to prove his global influence in the music industry.
According to Oneily Vibe, Jungkook's Spotify account recorded the fastest growth rate among all Asian artists. He also set a record with more than 40 million monthly listeners, the highest number ever achieved by a K-pop solo artist.
Despite releasing only one solo album, Jungkook has accumulated a total of 8.2 billion streams across all of users' accounts, making him the first K-pop solo artist and the fastest Asian artist to achieve this achievement.
With the song Seven, Jungkook became the first and fastest Asian artist to surpass 2.2 billion streams on a single song. He also became the first Asian solo artist to have three songs surpass 1 billion streams (Seven, Standing Next to You, left and Right).
Mr. Golden's debut solo album also became the first and fastest Asian solo album to surpass 5.2 billion streams on Spotify. This achievement makes Jungkook the first Asian solo artist to reach this milestone with a studio album.
