Light up cultural values from music, cinema to exhibitions, museums
The image of thousands of people lining up for more than 10 hours to get free tickets to attend art music nights, the audience singing along with singers in revolutionary epics of national concert nights is a clear testament to the enduring vitality of traditional culture.
Revolutionary music arose as a natural flow during the important holidays of the whole nation. No need to go to K-Pop stars or world stars, now music nights with 20,000 - 50,000 spectators filling the stadium to enjoy red music songs have become familiar.
In particular, the historical war film "Red Rain" became a prominent phenomenon at the Vietnamese box office during the holiday. The film recreates the 81-day and night battle at Quang Tri ancient citadel, attracting millions of spectators, achieving a revenue of more than 400 billion VND after only 11 days of release. Many viewers shared that after watching the film, they searched for more documents about Quang Tri, about the fierce struggle of the previous generation.
From the flow of patriotism, the National Achievements Exhibition recorded a record number of more than 650,000 visitors in just the 3rd day of opening (August 30), a total of 1.2 million visitors in the first 3 days, showing the public's interest in the development journey and national history.
The wave of interest in history is also extended in the space of museums and revolutionary relics in the capital such as Ba Dinh Square, Hoa Lo Prison, relic house number 48 Hang Ngang (where President Ho Chi Minh wrote the Declaration of Independence).
On this occasion, the Vietnam Military History Museum welcomed a record number of visitors when it was free to visit for 4 days, from August 30 to September 2.
Mr. Vu Loi (38 years old, from Hanoi) took his family to visit the museum on September 1 and shared: "On this occasion, I want the whole family to learn about the history of the nation together. We just went to see the movie Red Rain and were very moved, now we are at the museum to read more documents. It's really meaningful." That simple confession reflects the general trend when culture and history are actively spreading in the community.
arousing national pride
Political art programs and national concerts on the occasion of September 2 such as "Under the glorious flag", "Fatherland in the heart", "Hanoi - From the historic autumn of 1945", "Hanoi - Morning of Vietnamese Aspiration", "V Fest - Brilliant Youth", "V Concert - Brilliant Vietnam", Vietnam in Me", "Proud to be Vietnamese", "80 years of the journey of Independence - freedom - Happiness" ... not only convey the message with lyrics, but also arouse national pride in each audience.
This is the shift from one-way transmission to a community experience model. History is therefore no longer distant or arid, but present in life, easy to access and rich in emotions.
That spiritual value is mainly forged from patriotism. In the atmosphere of National Day, the image of people staying up all night to keep beautiful places on Hanoi streets, eagerly waiting for the parade and march has become a vivid testament to the spirit and national pride. That is the waiting, cheering with all my heart, to witness each army, each flag, each heroic step passed before the eyes.
Not only in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, people in other cities are also eagerly looking forward to the national festival.
In Hai Phong, Da Nang and many other provinces and cities, people are invited to wake up early in the morning to watch the parade live on TV.Large screens are set up in large spaces for everyone to live together in the atmosphere of celebrating National Day.A large number of tourists wore shirts printed with red flags with yellow stars, participated in the Flag-raising ceremony and sang "Tien Quan Ca" when together at the top of Fansipan, creating an unforgettable moment of patriotism.
