On September 1, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tham - garment factory 2, Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise, Lien Huong commune, Lam Dong province shared that on National Day (September 2), this year she was very happy and excited.
According to Ms. Tham, the Party and the State have paid attention to and given gifts to the people of the whole country to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day. On this occasion, workers of Tuy Phong Garment Factory were also given gifts for an independent Tet holiday by the company.
Everyone is very happy and moved when receiving attention from the Party, the State and the company. The practical gifts help us take care of our families, but more than that, they also encourage the spirit of solidarity of our entire Vietnamese nation, Ms. Tham expressed.
Chairman of the Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise Trade Union - Mr. Nguyen Hoa said that the unit belongs to the Branch of Binh Thuan - Nha Be Garment Joint Stock Company. Currently, Tuy Phong Garment Factory has 6 garment factories with 2,350 workers, all of whom are union members.
Towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day this year, the trade union here has proposed and coordinated with the Board of Directors to organize many practical activities.
The union organized the decoration of national flags and red balloons at sewing events and mobilized all workers to wear shirts and hats with red flags and yellow stars at work. This activity is carried out from mid-August to the end of the National Day holiday.
The company organizes a special meal for all workers during the independent Tet holiday. This dish is supplemented by eating a regular shift with boiled chicken and soft drinks.
In particular, workers are also given independent Tet gifts, each gift of 300,000 VND; newly recruited workers are also given 100,000 VND.
Mr. Hoa said that before that, on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the unit organized a "Union Meal" worth 50,000 VND/meal.
At the same time, the union and the Board of Directors launched a short emulation campaign, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), creating a vibrant working atmosphere, high productivity, and better income for workers.
