Episode 2 opens with the Sisters’ debut performance. Before her debut, Minh Hang felt pressured. Minh Hang debuted with the song “Climb high, fall painfully” with captivating choreography.
As for My Linh, she chose one of her own hit songs, “To be near you forever”. She wanted to send a message to other Sisters through the song: “The journey to Sisterhood is for us to find friends like kite strings, boat rudders to go together - only then can we go long, far”.
The debut stage ended, the Sisters immediately had to think and choose 3 team leaders they wanted to cooperate with from among the remaining Sisters.
3 Sisters who were announced as team leaders in episode 1 are not allowed to participate in the vote.
The person with the highest number of votes was Sister Minh Hang with 13 votes. The next person to become team captain was Pham Quynh Anh with 12 votes. The final team captain was Duong Hoang Yen with 11 votes.
Team leaders of Performance 1: Ngoc Phuoc, Kieu Anh, Toc Tien, Minh Hang, Pham Quynh Anh, Duong Hoang Yen. The Sisters officially entered Phase 1 of the Wind Riding journey called Doi Thuat Lien Minh.
2 Sisters 2023 are My Linh and Thu Phuong will form and lead 2 big Alliances to compete. After the Alliance Competition round, the winning team will win more debut positions in the final lineup.
My Linh and Thu Phuong will pair up with 6 team captains.
2 Sisters 2023 and 6 captains choose each other. My Linh and Thu Phuong write the name of 1 captain.
6 captains - each person writes only the name of 1 Sister 2023 they want to cooperate with the most in the Alliance battle.
After some deliberation, the Sisters made their own decision. My Linh chose Toc Tien because she had a feeling she would be on her team.
Toc Tien shared the reason for joining My Linh's Alliance because she felt impressed and compatible with the relaxed spirit her senior brought. Thu Phuong chose Ngoc Phuoc because she felt a sense of harmony.
Continuing to recruit team captains, Thu Phuong approached Pham Quynh Anh because she was moved and sympathized with her performance.
When choosing to marry Thu Phuong, Pham Quynh Anh emotionally shared about the affection between the two sisters from 16 years ago. She thought that now was the opportunity to sing a duet with Thu Phuong in her career journey.
Sister My Linh's next choice is Duong Hoang Yen. My Linh considers Duong Hoang Yen to be a person with good social skills, loved and accepted by everyone.
Pham Quynh Anh thinks that Minh Hang and Toc Tien have similar colors, so they would be suitable for being on two fronts. However, My Linh doesn't see the similarity because through her debut stage, she saw that Minh Hang leans towards performing while Toc Tien doesn't.
Faced with Minh Hang's concerns, My Linh was worried that if she let Minh Hang decide for herself, she would lose this talented captain. Therefore, My Linh firmly said: "I still maintain my opinion, I really want Minh Hang to join my team" to show Minh Hang her earnest desire to have her in the Alliance. Right after that sentence, Minh Hang immediately chose My Linh.
After the Alliance formation mission, the audience will be greeted with 2 Alliances in Performance 1.
