The winged horse (Thien Ma) is shaped with a size similar to a real horse in a high-heeled posture, with decisive lines, exuding a courageous spirit and the will to move forward constantly.


On the body of the statue are delicately carved traditional motifs, harmoniously combining modern shaping and spiritual cultural elements, creating a vivid but still solemn overall.
The mascot is placed in the center, becoming a highlight of the pagoda's Tet space. Surrounded by brilliant lanterns, yellow chrysanthemums and pink spring peach blossoms, highlighting the image of golden horses amidst the spring colors.
According to a representative of the pagoda, the process of constructing the horse mascot lasted nearly a week with the participation of many skilled workers. Each stage from framing, plastering to painting is carried out meticulously and carefully.
Many people when coming to Pho Do Pagoda admire the horse mascot that achieves high aesthetics, exuding bravery and willingness to conquer all difficulties and obstacles ahead to reach higher and further.

Mr. Nguyen Van Anh (72 years old, residing in Mai Phu commune, Ha Tinh province) admiring the horse mascot at Pho Do Pagoda commented: "I find this horse design very beautiful, very impressive. It shows the aesthetic level of the shaper is very high.
Not only is it a Tet decoration, the mascot Thien Ma also sends faith in a Binh Ngo 2026 year full of energy, smooth and peaceful as a spring wish for every family.


Pho Do Pagoda is located in Ho Do commune (old), now belonging to Tran Phu ward, Ha Tinh province, is an ancient pagoda built in the 18th century on the banks of the Ha Hoang River (also known as Ho Do River). After many upheavals, the pagoda was rebuilt in 2007-2008 to meet the needs of Buddhists to study.
The pagoda is a pure spiritual destination, famous for its unique architecture and poetic space.

In recent years, at the beginning of the new year, the pagoda often decorates mascots placed in the pagoda yard to achieve high aesthetics, attracting thousands of visitors to visit and check-in.
