Strictly control the border
From the beginning of December 2025, border posts under the Border Guard (BGB) of Lam Dong province have proactively strengthened forces, organized patrols, guards, and strictly controlled border lines, border markers and border gate areas.
Units coordinate with functional forces and local authorities to deploy closed patrols in the area, promptly detect and prevent illegal activities across borders, ensuring that people celebrate Tet safely.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Pham Quoc Tuan, Commander of Bu Prang Border Guard Station, said that implementing the peak plan for crime prevention and control before, during and after the Lunar New Year, the unit has thoroughly grasped the task to each officer and soldier.
In which, strictly maintain patrol and control teams and checkpoints throughout the route, resolutely handle violations of the law in the border area.

In parallel with that, units promote propaganda and dissemination of laws to people in border areas; mobilize people to strictly comply with the provisions of law and actively participate in denouncing crimes. Thereby, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety, and preventing the emergence of "hot spots" on the border line.
According to the Border Guard of Lam Dong province, in recent years, the crime situation on the border line has been complicated, especially drug crime with increasingly sophisticated and aggressive methods and tricks.
Faced with this reality, the units have synchronously deployed professional measures, proactively prevented and improved the effectiveness of struggle, firmly protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security.

Serving the people
In 2025, the Border Guard (BGB) of Lam Dong province chaired and coordinated the implementation of many specialized cases and professional plans to fight against drugs and crimes on the border line.
Through this, functional forces discovered and handled 198 cases with 234 subjects; prosecuted 31 cases with 35 subjects violating social order and safety; seized more than 769 grams of synthetic drugs, 1.2258 grams of heroin and many related exhibits.

Functional agencies also administratively fined 167 cases, with a total amount of more than 851 million VND; successfully fought 2 drug cases and prevented 4 cases of illegal entry and exit related to 14 subjects.
Lieutenant Colonel Luu Van Thiem, Commander of Dak M'Bai Border Guard Station, said that the unit manages Thuan An commune, which has a border line of more than 11km bordering Cambodia.
The terrain and harsh weather cause many difficulties for patrol and control work; especially in the dry season, subjects can take advantage of the terrain to transport illegal goods across the border.

Although the security and order situation in the area is basically stable, the unit still strictly maintains a 24/24 hour duty regime, strengthens patrols along the border line, landmarks and key areas.
At the same time, closely coordinate with local authorities to propagate and mobilize people to participate in managing and protecting border lines and landmarks.
According to Colonel Nguyen Thanh Dinh - Commander of Lam Dong Provincial Border Guard, the Party Committee and Command of the Provincial Border Guard have directed units to promote propaganda and raise legal awareness for people.
In which, launching a movement for the whole people to participate in crime prevention and denunciation, contributing to maintaining border security, creating conditions for people in border areas to enjoy Spring and welcome Tet safely and peacefully.
