On July 10, the Da Nang Museum opened the program "Da Nang Fine Arts Festival 2026" with many exhibition, experience and art exchange activities. The event is organized to diversify cultural products to serve people and tourists during DIFF 2026, and create a new rendezvous for the art-loving community in the city.

The highlight of the festival is the space displaying artworks by Da Nang artists and the exhibition area for ornamental creatures, bonsai and ornamental stones. In addition, people and tourists will visit art stalls, handicrafts, painting tools, experience creative activities and take photos at the photobooth area.

In addition, art performances and acrylic painting practice spaces, graphic printing at the festival contribute to attracting people and tourists to participate in experiencing.

Speaking at the opening of the festival, Mr. Huynh Dinh Quoc Thien, Director of Da Nang Museum, said that Da Nang Fine Arts Festival 2026 is not only an activity in response to DIFF 2026 but also an opportunity to introduce the creative labor achievements of painters and artists; create an environment for exchange between art and the public; encourage the creative spirit in the young generation. At the same time, contribute to the formation of cultural and artistic products to serve people and tourists.

The Da Nang Museum hopes that this year's Fine Arts Festival will become a meeting space for art lovers, where the public can directly experience, explore and feel the beauty of creation. At the same time, it contributes to spreading the spirit of innovation, arousing love for art and building an increasingly rich cultural life in the community," Mr. Thien said.

Within the framework of the event, the painting contest with the theme "Da Nang Heritage - New Vitality" will take place on the morning of July 11. The contest is for young people, students, and art lovers aged 16 to 22 studying and living in Da Nang.
The works will reflect the historical and cultural values, scenic spots, urban memories and heritage of the city from a creative perspective of young people. The Organizing Committee will award 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 2 Third Prizes and 3 Consolation Prizes to the entries.
