The theme of this week - "A thousand days of training for a second of reaction" - depicts the hard work, discipline and brave spirit of the People's Public Security soldiers.
In the section of overcoming obstacles on the mountain sports field, the intensity of training has exhausted many artists. Ngo Kien Huy was forced to leave the squad due to an unpaired leg injury, while MC Thanh Trung had to stop because of high fever, damaged ligaments and knee arthritis overflow. Both were given a rest by the military doctor, leaving the regret of their teammates.
The remaining formation faced a harsh challenge including climbing ropes, crawling under zinc, carrying wood, and dropping ropes from heights. Tien Luat suffered a burning of his hand, Song Luan admitted to being "really terrible", while Le Duong Bao Lam suffered a bleeding head injury but continued to be resilient and was commended by the commander. This moment made the actor cry emotionally.

Artists also participate in martial arts training, experiencing the moves of breaking bricks, tiles and wooden boards. Here, Ngo Kien Huy once again had a relapse of his ligament injury, forcing him to leave the program for treatment. Before saying goodbye, he promised to soon return to his teammates.
The highlight of the broadcast episode is also the real-life situation of a campaign to catch criminals in the deep forest. The harsh terrain, psychological pressure and hypothetical dangerous situations make many people exhausted. Binz's blood pressure subsided, and he was supported by Tien Luat, who persistently encouraged him for nearly an hour until the military provided him with medicine. This moment creates a beautiful image of camaraderie between the soldiers in the role.
In the gun training part, artists must maintain absolute balance with bullets placed on the core, even hanging bricks to increase weight. The live-fire test then made the whole team both tense and emotional. Kieu Minh Tuan was awarded the 10th place flower badge for his excellent shooting performance, while MONO shone throughout the challenge and became the "youngest child" to stand out.
At the end of episode 8, the audience not only witnessed the harshness of the training environment, but also clearly felt the iron will and comradeship of the artists in the role - the factor that created the strength of the "steel shield" of the People's Public Security force.
