In recent days, the story of designer Ha Nhat Tien temporarily putting aside his fashion work to become a technology car driver has received much attention. For many fashion-loving audiences, the image of a designer who has performed many big shows, collaborated with beauty queens and artists, now wearing a driver's uniform has surprised many people.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Ha Nhat Tien said that he is quite hesitant to share personal stories because he sees this simply as a job to make a living.
I think it's very normal for me to work. Everyone has a job to earn a living, so I don't think this is something too big to share or talk too much about," he said.

When asked if switching to driving technology cars is a trade-off for a well-known designer, Ha Nhat Tien said that his biggest difficulty lies in the business problem.
According to him, the designs he pursues are more artistic, aimed at a fairly narrow customer group, so it is very difficult to develop in a commercial direction.
I am not good at business. My fashion is a niche, not a mass-market product line. I just want to make designs with artistic flair, so the number of customers is also limited. That is a choice of my own aesthetic taste, so I accept it," he shared.
Although he has organized many shows, collaborated with many beauty queens and famous artists, Ha Nhat Tien believes that this does not mean that life is always stable.
Maybe you only see me doing shows. But a show cannot sustain me continuously. I still have to do fashion business, and I am not good at that. I also don't have my own workshop, I don't have the conditions to support workers like many other designers, but I have to process outside, so it depends on many factors. Therefore, each decision must be considered a lot," he confided.
The designer born in 1988 also revealed that before deciding to drive a technology car, he had sent applications to many places but had not received a response.
I have collaborated with some brands, also sent job applications to many places but no one responded. While I don't know what to do, life still has to continue, money still has to worry, so in the end I decided to drive a technology car," he said.
According to Ha Nhat Tien, he is currently only running part-time so that he can still receive designs, take photos or work with customers when there are orders.
I didn't quit my job. I just put it aside for a while. This job helps me have income, and at the same time, my mind is less stressed while waiting for new opportunities," he shared.
What caught many people's attention was the designer's very calm attitude towards this change.
Ha Nhat Tien said that for a long time, he no longer thought he was a celebrity.
I just want to do the job I love. In the past, I was lucky to have a little fame in the profession, but for a long time I thought I was like everyone else. Everyone has to work to earn a living," he said.
He also affirmed that he does not feel ashamed when driving a technology car.
I don't think any profession is more noble than any other. This is just a job to earn money with honest labor, so what is there to be afraid of or ashamed of," he expressed.
Currently, Ha Nhat Tien runs part-time every day, earning about 140,000-150,000 VND. The number is not large, but for him, it is the money created by his own labor in a period of many fluctuations.
Having pursued fashion for many years with many unique imprints, Ha Nhat Tien said that he has not given up his creative passion. The designer hopes that when conditions stabilize, he will return with personal imprint collections. But at the present time, his biggest priority is still to solve the immediate life problem.
