People's Artist Thanh Hoa has been through 2 marriages. However, she had never worn a wedding dress until 2018, at the age of 68, her husband and children suddenly held a large-scale wedding ceremony for People's Artist Thanh Hoa.
People's Artist Thanh Hoa said that the whole family had organized it secretly, only she did not know anything. The son and daughter-in-law took their mother to try on dresses and makeup, saying "to take souvenir photos", but unexpectedly, when she returned home, the house was decorated splendidly like a wedding ceremony.
Recalling, People's Artist Thanh Hoa said that she was very touched. That was the first time I wore a wedding dress, even though I had been through 2 marriages. I couldn't hold back my tears. I am touched by the affection of my family and husband and children. That day, witnessed by a few close friends and students, we held rituals for a real wedding. I kept crying every now and then because I was moved.
In a conversation with Lao Dong reporter, People's Artist Thanh Hoa said that at the age of 75, she has gone through many ups and downs to know what happiness is, and cherish every moment she has.
"After my first marriage broke up, I had to endure a lot of harsh words. I think that, when they are in court for a divorce together, no one is completely innocent, nor does anyone take responsibility for everything. When my first marriage ended, I moved on to my second marriage. So far, we have gone through a very long, agonizing journey together for 40 years. Honestly, at this point, couple affection is no longer love, but is surpassed everything, it is companionship, nurturing, being able to endure each other's bad habits, being able to control their ego for the common life" - People's Artist Thanh Hoa said.
According to People's Artist Thanh Hoa, her husband always loved, respected, and even " endured" her "bad things" to make life together a peaceful and connected time.
Currently, People's Artist Thanh Hoa and her husband live in a garden house of more than 1,000m2 in the suburbs of Hanoi. People's Artist Thanh Hoa described it as a peaceful life, where she and her husband can do what they love most, grow trees, grow vegetables together, wait for the flower to bear fruit, and then harvest the first sweet fruits of the season together.
