According to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, from 7pm on April 27, the road along Thong Nhat Park (Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi) began to be crowded with people.
Many families and groups of young people took the opportunity to choose beautiful locations around Thong Nhat Park to wait for a special fireworks display within the framework of the program "Forever the cycle of restoration" on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification.
At exactly 9:57 p.m., 600 high-altitude fireworks and 90 low-altitude fireworks displays were fired in the sky of Hanoi. The impressive performance lasted 15 minutes.
The moment the fireworks lit up, everyone took the opportunity to take photos with relatives and friends to capture the brilliant, colorful scene. The cheers and applause echoed throughout the area.
"This is the first time I have experienced such a big holiday atmosphere at Thong Nhat Park. The fireworks are so beautiful and I feel very proud of my country" - Hoang Anh (24 years old, Cau Giay, Hanoi) shared.
