Over half a century of construction, protection and development; constantly rising up, affirming its major central role in economy, culture, education - training, science - technology; being the leader of innovation, making important contributions to the overall development of the country and always ready to take on difficult and big tasks assigned by the Central Government.
From July 1, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City will operate a two-level local government model in a new development space. After a year of operation, the apparatus has gradually stabilized, strongly oriented towards grassroots levels, taking the efficiency of serving people and businesses as a measure.
In that flow, Ho Chi Minh City today is opening up to the lens vivid frames: grassroots officials wholeheartedly guiding people to carry out administrative procedures; bustling construction sites with the atmosphere of labor; industrial parks and ports busy with shifts; neighborhoods, hamlets, schools, hospitals, and people's markets brighten up with the beauty of affection...
After arranging administrative units, the Ho Chi Minh City space has more new materials for photographers: urban landscape, river space, attractive destinations, cultural - historical addresses and works bearing the mark of development. There, tradition and modernity, urban rhythm and grassroots breath are present, becoming a source of creative inspiration for photographers.
Each photo, if expressed by subtle observation, professional responsibility and love for the city, will add a realistic cross-section of Ho Chi Minh City in a particularly transforming time - more open, more dynamic, closer to the people and more ambitious.
The Organizing Committee of the "Radiant Golden Name" photo contest wishes to receive the most beautiful, true and emotional frames about Ho Chi Minh City; thereby jointly preserving valuable documents about the city named after Uncle Ho in the new development journey, contributing to making the Golden Name of the City today and in the future even more radiant.
