Romance drama “Love Scout” tells the story of Kang Ji Yoon (Han Ji Min), a CEO who is great at work but clumsy at everything else, and Yoo Eun Ho (Lee Joon Hyuk), a secretary who is capable, not only at work but also at childcare and housework.
The project marks Han Ji Min’s return after the controversial drama “Magic Hand.” Meanwhile, “Love Scout” is Lee Joon Hyuk’s latest drama after “Dongjae, Good or Bad” (which ended in November 2024), and his first romance drama in 5 years since “A Poem a Day” (2018).
Speaking about the drama, Han Ji Min excitedly described her character Ji Yoon as someone who values work more than people. “With Ji Yoon’s charisma and cold attitude as a CEO, I think the audience will see a different charm than what I have shown in my previous roles.”
This is also the reason why the actress carefully considered the character's style. "As a CEO, people might expect a glamorous look, but I felt that a more realistic style suited Ji Yoon better. That image doesn't make her look too sharp."
As for Lee Joon Hyuk, having played many bold roles (corrupt prosecutor, time-traveling police officer...), “Love Scout” is a refreshing change. He chose to play the main role in the project because he longed for a warm and sympathetic story.
In this film, the actor focused on highlighting the gentleness of Eun Ho - a character who is both strong and warm, and tried to properly build a character defined by kindness and thoughtfulness. Notably, among the roles he has played, Lee Joon Hyuk revealed that Eun Ho is the character whose voice is most similar to his real voice.
Regarding his collaboration with Han Ji Min, the actor praised his co-star for her great transformations in the scenes, and at the same time helped him learn many things.
