On the afternoon of March 14, Quang Linh Vlogs and Hang Duoc had a press conference related to the KERA vegetable candy case of Chi Em rot Group Joint Stock Company (CER). Here, both the company and the audience apologized for the recent scandals.
At the press conference, when asked about the statement "2 candy bars for vegetables equal to 1 plate of vegetables", Quang Linh Vlogs affirmed that he had never made this statement.
This male vlogger said: "When we eat vegetables with KERA candy, it will supplement nutrition for the body. I have never said that this product can replace vegetables on social networks".
Regarding the question of whether the product really adds fiber content as advertised or not, Quang Linh Vlogs said: "I apologize to all customers for using incorrect terms and conveying unclear information. KERA mainly supplements nutrients from green vegetables, because the main ingredient of the product is from vegetables.
I apologize to customers as well as the public for my recent statements that have caused a lot of misunderstanding on social networks".
At the press conference, Quang Linh also announced a temporary suspension of livestream sales.
Quang Linh said: "Before the incident of using the wrong term on livestream, I stopped livestreaming to sell products. As I announced on the previous livestream, I will be out for a long time."
He added that he will return to Africa and fulfill the role he previously played in Angola.
When asked about the source of KERA candy production materials, Mr. Le Tuan Linh - legal representative of CER Group affirmed: "Input materials are strictly controlled, purchased from growing facilities in Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Binh Thuan.
Vegetables and fruits used in production have clear origins and ensure quality. In the coming time, the factory also plans to expand the raw material area to serve production".
