On March 20, the Da Nang City Union of Literature and Arts Associations organized the introduction of two new publications including the research book "Colors of Da Nang Folk Culture" and the collection of essays - notes "Da Nang - come to love, go to remember", to celebrate the 51st anniversary of Da Nang City Liberation Day (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2026).
The launch of these two publications not only contributes to better identifying the local cultural identity but also spreads those sustainable values through both the depth of folk research and the subtle emotions of literature, thereby arousing love and pride in the city in the hearts of readers.
The two publications "Colors of Da Nang Folk Culture" and "Da Nang - Come to Love, Go to Remember" bring readers a comprehensive and emotional view of the land by the Han River, from the depth of traditional culture to very ordinary feelings.
The book "Colors of Da Nang Folk Culture" is a meticulously researched work, compiling many research articles on customs, beliefs, festivals and the daily life of local residents. Thereby, contributing to identifying and affirming folk cultural values as a solid foundation in contemporary life.
Meanwhile, "Da Nang - come to love, go to remember" opens up an emotional literary space with essays and notes by many authors who have been attached to the city, depicting Da Nang through memories, experiences and love, from simple things in everyday life to the beauty of people and scenery, creating a picture that is both close and poetic about the city.
The launch of the two books not only contributes to spreading cultural values and artistic creativity but also enriches spiritual life, while preserving and promoting local identity. The Organizing Committee hopes that the two books will reach a large number of readers, continuing to inspire and love for Da Nang.
