In the letter, the male idol asked his fans about the Lunar New Year holiday.
"I can't believe I'm 32 years old, I feel like I haven't accomplished anything yet.Finally, I was promoted to sergeant.I believe the other members will also be promoted soon.I'm still happy because my next promotion will be to soldier," he shared.
When talking about the members who have completed their military service, RM shared: "When I see the two members who finished their missions before me and are standing on their own two feet, I feel both jealous and relieved.
There are so many things I want to say to you when I return as Kim Namjoon, a civilian. The words I can't say all of them now. I believe that one day, I will be able to convey these words to you in my own way. It's already February, only about 4 months left (meaning the time to discharge)."
Talking about his current life in the army, he said: "As usual, I exercise, play the saxophone, listen to music, watch movies on weekends and study, preparing for my return. I hope you are also healthy."
RM enlisted as a member of the ROK military band in December 2023. He is scheduled to be discharged on June 10.
