Revolutionary plays are focused on
Quoc Thao Drama Theater performed the play "Canh Dong Den Hoa Nhieu". This is a stage work recreating the tragic story of the sacrifice of the railway workers in Vinh Loc commune, Binh Chanh district more than 50 years ago. The play has the participation of artist Quoc Thao, Meritorious Artist Minh Nhi, Meritorious Artist Tuyet Thu, Huu Nghia and 50 young actors of Quoc Thao stage.
The play recreated the muddy people in the city's outskirts, wholeheartedly following the revolution, devoting all their youth to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. They are Miss Sau ( Meritorious Artist Tuyet Thu), Uncle Hai (artist Minh Nhi) who secretly raise soldiers. These are girls and boys who are not afraid of danger, volunteering to fight for the people's cause with the hope that the general advance will soon be victorious and peace will return to the poor land.
The play brought the audience back to the night of June 15, 1968 in Lang Sau field, where the people of the city's outskirts offered their whole youth, blood and tears for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
The play "The Heart of the Guides" is one of the notable works performed by the Vietnam Youth Theater as a tribute, towards the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. The play is a combination of stage, music, and documentary images recreating the image of Uncle Ho through important historical periods of the country. The work The Heart of the Guides by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen The Ky is not simply a stage work, but also a symphony of emotions - where history, music and national memories blend in each lyric, each look, each heartbeat of the audience.
Along with "The Heart of the Guides", on this occasion, the Youth Theater also performed the play "The 9th Oath", a famous work by playwright Luu Quang Vu. The work conveys a message of military-civilian love and civic responsibility that is still valuable in today's life.
Previously, the performances of the play The Man in the Causu Shoes of the Vietnam Drama Theater were sold out. This is a work introduced by the Vietnam Drama Theater to serve the audience on the occasion of National Day, September 2.
It can be seen that the plays with revolutionary themes and soldiers are being responded to and supported by the audience.

People's Artist My Uyen and young actors performed plays for children such as the Chicken and Duck Squad - a magical musical for preschool and primary school children. The play "Boi Banh Trang" - an educational play for preschool and primary school children was also performed on this occasion.
