On January 12, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that the province has just issued a decision on the establishment of Lam Son Thanh Hoa Cultural and Art Center, under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province.
Lam Son Thanh Hoa Cultural and Art Center was established on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of culture and cinema of the Thanh Hoa Tourism and Culture, Cinema Promotion Center and receiving the original status of Lam Son Thanh Hoa Art Theater.
This is a public non-business unit with revenue, self-ensuring a part of regular expenditures, under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; with legal status, seal and private account as prescribed by law.
The Center has the function of organizing propaganda and dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; implementing political, economic, cultural, and social tasks and other tasks of the locality through professional activities.
Along with that, the Center organizes art performances to serve the political tasks of the locality, meeting the cultural, artistic and entertainment needs of the people; providing public service and serving state management work in accordance with the law.
