The entire project will comply with current construction standards.
The main space axis will extend in the Northeast - Southwest direction, starting from the park welcome gate, through the open square next to Dam Tri lake and ending at the large-scale theater - the highlight of the entire area.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that Hanoi was looking for an investor to build a park and theater worth 500 million USD. Accordingly, the theater will have an area of about 13,000m2, designed to float on the surface of Dam Tri Lake, near West Lake. The project not only serves major cultural and political events but is also a multi-functional complex of culture, arts and entertainment.
On April 28, 2025, the Hanoi People's Committee approved Sun City Company Limited as the investor to implement the Ngoc Trai Theater and thematic Cultural and Artistic Park project in Tay Ho ward.
In addition, the central space axis of Quang An peninsula will also connect the urban value chain from Tay Ho Tay urban area - West lake - West lake peninsula - Red river - to Co Loa. This planning aims to preserve and promote the typical values of culture, landscape and ecosystem of the water surface of Tay Lake and Dam Tri Lake.
Urban traffic issues are given special attention. The area will form an underground traffic network, underground parking lot synchronously connected with the city's general technical infrastructure, ensuring convenient traffic, while preserving and protecting the ecological environment of the West Lake area.
