Song Hye Kyo said that 20 is a happy time but she did not realize it.

Recently, Song Hye Kyo attracted attention when sharing an interview video with Vogue China on her personal page. In the conversation, the actress not only confided about her nearly 30-year journey of artistic activities but also revealed her thoughts about happiness, youth and current life.

Although one of the leading stars of the Korean entertainment industry, Song Hye Kyo said that she has never considered herself a "veteran".

I always feel that each new project is a new beginning. Every time I receive a new role, I have a lot of thoughts and worries. Therefore, everything is still as difficult as in the early days," the actress shared.

Looking back at her 20s, Song Hye Kyo admitted that she once did not realize that she was living in happy years.

When I was young, I didn't really understand what happiness was. Looking back now, I realize I was very happy but didn't know that at that time. Perhaps because I was too young, I didn't have enough experience to realize the value of what I have," she said.

The star born in 1981 said that at the present time, she is still on the journey to understand herself. However, compared to before, she has understood more clearly what she loves and what is no longer suitable for her.

I'm still not sure if I fully understand happiness or not. But now I know what I like, what I don't like, and just that makes me feel much happier," Song Hye Kyo confided.

The actress also said that last year was a time she focused on work when she spent most of her time filming. After a year of continuous work, she wants to acknowledge her own efforts and enjoy the rare break time.

I want to tell myself that I have worked very hard for the past year. Currently, I have a little time to slow down and be myself," she shared.

In the near future, Song Hye Kyo will reunite with audiences through Netflix's new series "Tantara". The work is set in the Korean entertainment industry from the 1960s to 1980s - a period full of turmoil with many injustices and hardships.

The film revolves around the journey of maturity of people from poor backgrounds but constantly striving to pursue their dreams and reach success.

Song Hye Kyo's return in a new project is receiving much expectation from fans, especially after the strong marks she left in recent works.
