Netflix, the makers of the hit survival series “Squid Game,” have confirmed the release date for the third and final season. The new season will premiere on June 27, 2025.
Along with this announcement, Netflix released a new poster and some character images, teasing upcoming content.
The poster features a haunting moment from the game's iconic scenes: a guard in pink drags a bloodied contestant to a coffin wrapped in a pink ribbon.
The words "Prepare for the final match" foreshadow a dramatic finale.

Following the fierce battle between Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae) and “Front Man” (Lee Byung Hun) in part 2, part 3 will focus on Gi Hun’s desperate resistance against the game organizers.
After a failed rebellion, Gi Hun is faced with a crucial decision at his most desperate moment. In the new image, he is handcuffed.
Some characters from part 3 also appear such as player Jun Hee (Jo Yuri), Yong Sik (Yang Dong Geun) and his mother Geum Ja (Kang Ae Shim), No Eul (Park Gyu Young) - the guard from part 2.
According to the introduction, "Squid Game 3" will delve into the mysterious “Front Man” character, who secretly returns to the game while hiding his true identity.
Season 3 also explores the fate of the remaining participants who survived the brutal ordeal.
