Under the old oak tree in the deserted park, there was an experienced old painter and a young, enthusiastic architect sitting together. The wind blows through the stir-fried leaves, carrying the scent of street dust mixed with the scent of flowers from the nearby trees.

The young architect, with a slightly tired look in his eyes, spoke up first: I find this life increasingly stuffy. Everything around was full of competition and competition. The environment is getting more and more polluted, people are getting more and more stressed, everyone races against time. I was afraid that I would eventually get caught up in that cycle and lose myself.

The old painter smiled: When we were young, we were worried like you now. That day, we wanted to paint big and impressive paintings, to prove ourselves, to affirm our name in the world of painting. But the more we draw, the more we feel pressured. Then one day, we met an old carpenter living on the riverbank.

He only makes simple, not elaborate but extremely meticulous items. We asked him: "Why don't you try to make a more complex, bigger work?". He just laughed and replied: "Because I don't need to prove anything. The most important thing is that when I work, I feel happy.

After that, we started to change our perspective. We no longer paint for fame or recognition of others, but only for the joy in our souls. And strangely, when we do that, we paint more beautifully than before.

The young architect listened quietly, then sighed: But this world is not like the old days. Architecture is not only art but also a business. If you don't run faster than others, don't do better than them, how can you survive?

He looked at him with understanding and then slowly said: No matter how hard you try, you can't control everything. Competition, pollution, pressure... are all part of this world. But if you only focus on those things, you will forget the original reason, making you love architecture. Do you still remember why you wanted to become an architect for the first time?

He suddenly had images of his childhood, when he was enthusiastically painting dream houses. At that time, he did not think about money or fame, but simply wanted to create a warm and peaceful space for everyone.

He continued: The important thing is not how fast you run, but whether you still love what you are doing or not. If you really love your job, just work with all your heart. At that time, no matter how harsh the world outside is, he will still find peace in his heart.
