On the afternoon of March 22, within the framework of the first Hue Martial Arts Festival 2025, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center coordinated with Mic Viet Management and Communications Joint Stock Company to organize a seminar on "Traditional martial arts in educating the younger generation".
At the seminar, representatives of martial arts unions, martial arts schools, cultural management units and schools in Hue City discussed and shared about traditional martial arts, the role of martial arts in education and the need to bring martial arts to schools.

Legendary martial artist Nguyen Van Dung believes that martial arts not only helps young people practice their skills and cultivate their ethics, but also equips them with the skills to protect themselves and know how to respect others. Many martial arts schools have organized community activities, such as giving books to rural schools, giving scholarships and supporting the construction of schools for students in mountainous areas.
Journalist and martial artist Le Thanh Phong - a student of martial artist Nguyen Van Dung - emphasized that today's young generation is affected by many negative impacts from technological devices and social networks. He gave many examples of students suffering from mental illness due to pressure from studying, taking exams and being toxicely affected by social networks.

According to martial artist Phong, martial arts is a healthy environment that helps teenagers reduce pressure, practice physically and mentally, and help overcome themselves every day.
Ms. Le Thi Ly Na - Principal of Le Loi Primary School (Thuan Hoa District, Hue City), said that since 2015, the school has introduced martial arts to teaching as an elective lesson, combined with skill and sports clubs. Currently, the school still maintains 2 martial arts clubs with more than 70 martial arts students practicing regularly.

The seminar received many enthusiastic opinions from martial arts masters and teachers, affirming the role of martial arts in educating the younger generation. The quintessence of Vietnamese martial arts is not only physical training but also helps build personality, will and discipline.
On the same afternoon, the first Hue Martial Arts Festival 2025 officially closed.
