The ceremony took place at Minh Tam Square, in Yen Tu National Monument and Forest Area, Yen Tu Ward, Quang Ninh Province, jointly organized by Quang Ninh Province, Bac Ninh and Hai Phong City. It is expected that there will be about 15,000 attendees.
The ceremony to receive the World Cultural Heritage Certificate for the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son Monument and Scenic Landscape Complex, Kiep Bac is the focus of a series of activities to commemorate the 717th anniversary of the Lunar New Year of King Tran Nhan Tong and the Ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiep Bac Monument and Scenic Landscape Complex as a World Cultural Heritage.
Delegates invited to attend the Recognition Ceremony include leaders of the Party, State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; relevant ministries, departments and branches; Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO; Ambassadors and Heads of Permanent Schools at UNESCO; Delegates of the National Cultural Heritage Council; Delegates of the Department of Cultural Heritage (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism); Delegates of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Cultural diplomacy; Research institutes; Central Delegates of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.
On the international delegates' side, delegates were invited to include UNESCO Director General; Director of the World Heritage Center; General Director of the International Council of Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS); Ambassadors of 20 countries are members of the World Heritage Committee; 13/20 countries are members of the World Heritage Committee for the 2023-2027 term with embassies in Vietnam; Head representatives and staff of the UNESCO Office in Vietnam; Delegates of Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh provinces and Hai Phong city; central and local press agencies and a large number of people and tourists.
The program will be broadcast live on VTV4 and VTVGo - Vietnam Television, rebroadcast on Newspapers and PT-TH in many provinces and cities nationwide.

The ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition is expected to last 90 minutes with the participation of famous artists and singers such as: Ho Quynh Huong, Tung Duong, Ngoc Anh, Hoang Hai, Vicky Nhung, Dinh Manh Ninh, Vo Ha Tram, Quan A.P, Tuan cry, Rapper Ramc, Oplus group and units: Quang Ninh Children's Club, Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command, Ha Long University, Then Club, Quang Ninh Provincial Arts Theater, Bac Ninh Quan Ho Theater, Vu Doan Tre..., promising to bring a sacred, solemn art night, honoring the value of national cultural heritage.
Previously, on July 12, 2025, at the 47th Session of the World Heritage Committee (UN UNESCO) held in Paris, the French Republic, the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son Relic and Scenic Landscape Complex, Kiep Bac of Quang Ninh Province, Bac Ninh Province and Hai Phong City were recognized as World Cultural Heritage.
This is a series of relics and relics located in 3 provinces and cities, including: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong and Bac Ninh, associated with the birth, spread and development of Truc Lam Zen sect. Heritage is the place of formation, birth and development of the Vietnam pure Buddhist Zen Center, directly founded by the Vietnamese people. This is also the convergence of ancient architectural works such as the upon-site pagoda, the main gate, the stele, the main gate and the well-preserved sacred sites stretching from Yen Tu to Vinh Nghiem and Con Son, Kien Bac.
The heritage fully reflects the development stages of Truc Lam Buddhism from its foundation to its institutionalization and then the stages of revival and continued transmission.
The World Cultural Heritage Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac was recognized by UNESCO as a testament to the unique combination of state, religion and people in forming the national identity of Vietnam. The sacred landscape in the complex is formed through regular, close interaction with nature and a moral system based on peace, self-cultivation, tolerance, compassion and harmony between people and nature.
This is also a place to practice the long-standing cultural and religious tradition and inspire the domestic and international communities, an attractive religious center and an important pilgrimage destination, affirming the cultural and spiritual values of this tradition of the Vietnamese community both at home and abroad.
