The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province has just signed a decision to appoint a series of personnel of the Ha Long - Yen Tu Bay World Heritage Management Board.
Accordingly, Mr. Mai Vu Tuan - Director of the Department of Justice - was transferred and appointed to the position of Head of the Ha Long - Yen Tu Bay World Heritage Management Board.
The Ha Long - Yen Tu Bay World Heritage Management Board has just been established on the basis of merging 3 units, including: Ha Long Bay Management Board, Bai Tu Long National Park Management Board and Quang Ninh Monuments and Scenic Landscape Management Board, under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh.
The Ha Long - Yen Tu Bay World Heritage Management Board is a public service unit that ensures 100% of regular expenditures, under the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province.
With this merger, the two world heritages, the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay and the Yen Tu World Cultural Heritage, are both directly managed by the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board.
Mr. Mai Vu Tuan, born in 1973, has worked in the press industry for many years, including being a reporter and then Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Radio and Television Station and then Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center (the unit merging Quang Ninh Newspaper and Quang Ninh Radio and Television Station).
Mr. Tuan has also held positions such as: Deputy Chief of Office of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Ninh province, Secretary of Binh Lieu district, Secretary of the Uong Bi City Party Committee.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province also signed decisions on the transfer and appointment of Deputy Heads of the World Heritage Management of Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Hau - Deputy Head of Ha Long Bay Management Board - holds the position of Deputy Head of Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management.
Mr. Pham Dinh Huynh - Deputy Head of Ha Long Bay Management Board - holds the position of Deputy Head of Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management.
Mr. Le Minh Tan - Deputy Head of Ha Long Bay Management Board - holds the position of Deputy Head of Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management.
