Recently, Tran Nghien Hy's management company issued an official announcement related to the request for judgment enforcement in a long-standing lawsuit.
The defendant is a die-hard fan of actor Tran Hieu. This person has continuously had acts of insulting and defaming the actress on social networks for a long time.
According to the content of the sentence, from April 2018 to March 2025, the Weibo account named "Lanlin" posted a series of offensive content, from insulting appearance to spreading false rumors about Edison Chen's private life.
These behaviors lasted continuously for about 7 years, coinciding with most of the marriage time between her and Tran Hieu.
Previously, the couple publicly dated in 2015, got married in 2016 and officially divorced in February 2025.
Throughout the marriage period, the actress almost had to endure attacks from a part of her ex-husband's fans.

After the divorce, Tran Nghien Hy decided to sue through a team of lawyers. By December 2025, the first-instance court determined that the defendant's actions constituted defamation, and ordered this person to publicly apologize on Weibo for at least 7 days and compensate a total of 40,000 yuan, including mental damage and legal costs.
The defendant then appealed, but by 2026, the appellate court upheld the initial ruling, making the judgment officially legally effective.
However, this person did not voluntarily fulfill the obligation to apologize and compensate, leading to Tran Nghien Hy's side submitting a request for judgment enforcement on April 20, 2026 through a law office in Beijing.
By April 22, the lawyers confirmed that the case had officially entered the judgment enforcement phase. Notably, the entire amount of compensation if recovered would be donated by the actress to a charity, instead of being kept.

This move shows that Tran Nghien Hy's goal is not material value, but to affirm a legal stance in combating cyber violence and acts of insulting personal honor.
The defendant's identity is said to be a long-time fan of Tran Hieu, even participating in managing the fan community.
The incident also sparked many debates in public opinion about the boundary between admiration and personal attack.
For many years, attacking content targeting Edison Chen still appeared densely on social networks.
This 7-year lawsuit is currently not only a personal legal dispute, but also seen as a warning about the consequences of cyber violence and legal responsibility for speaking out in cyberspace.
