On December 6, at Nguyen Sinh Sac Relic Site (Cao Lanh City), the Propaganda Department of Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee in coordination with the Provincial Literature and Arts Association held the Closing Ceremony and Awarding Ceremony of the Contest for Composing and Promoting Literary and Artistic Works on the Theme "Studying and Following Ho Chi Minh's Thought, Morality and Style" Phase II, 2023 - 2024.
The contest received 181 works from 89 authors in 7 majors: literature, music, theater, fine arts, photography, critical theory, cinema - television.
According to the Organizing Committee of the contest, most of the entries adhered closely to the theme, were elaborately and delicately expressed, and had high value in terms of content and art; affirmed the great value of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style; and introduced typical examples through studying and following Uncle Ho's example.
Many works praise the love of the homeland, traditional craft villages and people in labor, production, achievements in socio-economic development... From the proposals of the Jury, the Organizing Committee of the Contest selected 77 best works to award prizes, including: 5 A prizes, 8 B prizes, 21 C prizes and 43 Encouragement prizes.
