The contest is organized in the form of an online test on the electronic information portal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism from October 14 to November 17.
According to Director of the Library Department Kieu Thuy Nga: "With an innovative organization method that creates convenience for participants, the contest has attracted the participation of a large number of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and people; becoming an effective method of propaganda and education of ideals and culture and meeting the policy of increasing the application of information technology and digital transformation in the activities of agencies and units today".
After 5 weeks, the contest "Understanding the content of the book by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong" attracted 423,422 registrants with more than 1.3 million entries.
The Organizing Committee awarded 5 first prizes, 15 second prizes, 25 third prizes, 50 consolation prizes to individual contestants, along with 5 specialized prizes (Ministries and branches with the most contestants; Localities with the most contestants; Central organizations and unions with the most contestants; Units with the most first prize winners and Youngest prize winners).
The individuals who won first prize in the contest included Mr. Tran Ngoc Huong (Vo Dang Duoc Secondary School, Go Cong Tay District, Tien Giang Province), Ms. Do Ngoc Giao (Hanoi Open University), Mr. Duong Truong Giang, a student of Battalion 1 (Artillery Officer School, Ministry of National Defense), Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Vy (State Bank, Binh Thuan Province Branch) and Ms. Ma Hai Yen, police officer of Bac Kan Province.
Within the framework of the closing and award ceremony, the organizing committee also exhibited a number of works by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
