Curved Road is not only a meeting of sculptures but also an exchange between many generations of artists, from experienced domestic sculptures to young people looking for their own language. Once again, "The ways of the ways" by 9 sculptors - old and young - meet again. They all follow a common path: passion for beauty, gratitude for the curves that creation sends into the hands of artists.

The curve is not simply the curve of a cube, but it is a way for us to measure the vibration of emotions. We want this year's exhibition to not only display works, but also open up dialogue about the changing beauty in contemporary life" - sculptor Nguyen Phu Cuong spoke on behalf of the artists at the opening ceremony.

As someone who pursues the flow of emotions towards modern symbols, at the same time, he combines the soft East curve of spirituality, creating a balanced beauty.
If Nguyen Phu Cuong's " curved path" is towards stationaryness, Hoang Thanh Giao shows adventurous twisted roads through all materials such as ceramic and bronze.

All aspects of love can create realistic and intimate works - the sculptor and Fine Arts lecturer shared. With a large volume of bronze works, the capital's art community and the public are appreciated through impressive solo exhibitions.

The works of sculptor Nguyen Xuan Thanh - who was the Head of the Department of Sculpture at the Vietnam University of Fine Arts - are serious, delicate, and graceful statues with multi-matter materials such as ceramic, stone, and composite.

With the artistic declaration: "I compose from the beautiful things that awaken me", along with works made of charcoal, lightly enriched ceramic materials. Artist Nguyen Tuan Thinh expressed through " curves" with a free spirit and innocent expressions.

Coming to Do Ba Quang is an artist working with many materials, notably ceramics and wood, combining reason and emotion. His statue is strong and shy.

The underground and underground curves, sophisticated simplified shapes, the " curves" of sculptor Nguyen Kim Xuan are always full of emotions, the lines are strong and soft, and reserved, expressing the harmony of skills.

Dedicate all of your affection to ceramic materials, where your compositions have traditional craftsmen combining rustic materials. Sculptor Nguyen Thi Hai Yen brought works containing ghosts, simple curves but full of desire.

Author Pham Quoc Anh creates large blocks rich in expressions, expressing a calm and contemplative spirit, thereby expressing abstract ideas about life and people.

The 4th "Curved Road" is not simply an occasion for sculpture exhibition but an affirmation that Vietnamese sculpture is developing, soft but still strong and individual but still community- oriented.
The exhibition is open from now until the end of December 2025, at 16 Ngo Quyen, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.
